Vision

‘Spacious Places’ drug and alcohol service is there for men and women 18 years or over who are desperate to address issues to do with addiction. ‘Spacious Places’ offers Structured Day Care, 5 days a week for those people who are working towards abstinence or who are already abstinent from drugs, alcohol or other addictions.
The program offered will be holistic and based on the 12 step model of recovery.
As well as taking self referrals, ‘Spacious Places’ will take referrals from the Crypt, from Churches and from other agencies across the region. ’Spacious Places’ will work with other professional agencies to see service users fully integrated back into mainstream society, in employment, on further education courses and in independent and supported accommodation. ‘Spacious Places’ is committed to bringing awareness to society on issues pertaining to addiction, including teaching in schools and in the workplace and will offer support to the families of those effected by addiction. ‘Spacious Places’ will show the love of Jesus to clients and their families, working towards reconciliation where possible. ‘Spacious Places’ is not limited to any one geographical location.
